College Experience Begins with Our People
For more than 180 years, lives have been impacted for the better because of the connections made at Marietta College.
I was an ambitious, anxious, first-generation college student from Appalachia who had been homeschooled her whole life, so college was a huge transition for me. The faculty here not only made me feel welcome but also made me feel valued. My experience at Marietta College allowed me to see that I could have a meaningful impact on the world around me.

Expanding Access to Education Abroad
Ron ’72 and Simi Rinard realize just how life-changing and rewarding traveling abroad and learning about other cultures can be, which is why they decided to endow the Ronald ’72 and Simin Shelton Rinard International Travel Grants Program with a $1.5 million pledge over the course of five years.
Marietta College today announced that it received a $1 million pledge from Peoples Bank to enhance and facilitate the merger between the Department of Business & Economics and the McDonough Center for Leadership and Business.
Titled "This is the Time," the campaign is the largest in the College's history and it has far-reaching plans that include advancing the College's distinctive academic programs and constructing a modern Student Center.
